SYDNEY, Australia - A TV weatherman is attacked by a pelican on live television.
Steve Jacobs was doing his weather from the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia where zoo keepers are training pelicans to be part of the seal show. They must have forgot to teach the pelicans about TV weathermen.
A pelican, named Marnie, lunged towards Jacobs during his live segment. A zoo keeper pulled the bird back and gave Jacobs the opportunity to continue on with the weather.
But a minute later, Marnie attacked Jacobs who started screaming and clung to a wall while Marnie pinched Jacob's backside.
Afterwards, Jacobs said "I'm going to be mentally scarred."
